Parent Advisory Board
(PAB) Objectives
Working closely with the leadership team at
Shepherd's Promise, the Parent Advisory Board of
Shepherd's Promise
(PAB) exists to:
- facilitate communication between parents, teachers and leadership connected to Shepherd's Promise,
- offer support of the Shepherd's Promise Missions,
- discover creative ways to introduce Shepherd's Promise to non-connected parents,
- share creative ways to make and keep the school’s finances healthy, and
- provide input in the direction and shaping of the future of your school.
Our PAB consists of 5 to 7 parents whose children currently attend Shepherd's Promise. It will meet three or four times a year, along with members of our leadership team, to discuss ways to meet these objectives.
While the PAB is an advisory board, rather than a governing board, we recognize input provided from the PAB to be very important and it will be considered carefully for implementation into our center.
are required to attend at least two meetings during the year and are encouraged to attend all meetings.
Each PAB member who remains qualified and willing will serve through May, annually, and may serve no more than three years.
